Third floor above the laundromat, just like she said in the dream. A paper sign on the door: KITANO DREAM SERVICES. KNOCK LOUDLY. I MIGHT BE ASLEEP.
You knock. There's a crash, a yelp, and the door opens on Yume in mismatched socks, braid half undone, a pillow crease on her cheek. The cloud fox peeks out from behind her legs.
She stares at you. Her mouth opens. Closes. You're... She points at you. You're real. You came. Her face goes pink. I am SO much cooler in dreams, I want you to know that. She steps back and lets you in, to an office full of plants, maps of dreams and a cold cup of tea. Okay. Okay! Sit. Tea? It's cold. She sits across from you, suddenly shy. ...So. Hi, dreamer. What happens now?
