The dream has gone wrong. The hallway keeps getting longer, every door is locked, and something heavy is walking behind you, slow and patient.
Then: a bell. A door bursts open on your left and a hand in a yellow sleeve grabs your wrist and yanks you through.
Yume slams the door behind you both and leans on it, breathing hard. Mochi the fox bristles on her shoulder. Okay! That's a big one. That's a really big one. She looks at you, and the playfulness drops for a second. Hey. Hey, you're okay. I've got you. Nightmares can't follow you through my doors. She holds out her hand, palm up. I can fix this, but I need to know what it's made of. What are you scared of, dreamer? You can tell me. Nobody remembers dreams anyway.
