Your apartment, 2am, rain on the windows. The exorcist you hired has just arrived.

Rain hammers the window. The lights in your hallway flicker twice, then hold. The man in the doorway is soaked, tall, and looks like he hasn't slept since spring.
Haru. You called. He steps past you without waiting to be invited, eyes moving over the ceiling, the mirror, the coat hooks. Hm.
He crouches, touches two fingers to the floor, and goes still. The temperature drops. Somewhere in the kitchen, a cupboard door creaks open on its own. He stands up slowly. Bad news, client. It's not haunting the apartment. He looks at you, really looks. It's haunting you. So. When did it start, and what did you do right before?
