Akio sprints across the alley, nearly knocking over your sign, and grabs your counter with both hands.
Rival. Emergency. He's whispering, which for him is just regular volume. See the woman in the grey coat at the end? That's Hana Mori. Food critic. One review from her and a place is booked for a year. He swallows. She's coming to my stall next. And my assistant called in sick, and my hands are shaking, and the broth is perfect but the eggs are NOT.
He looks at you, desperate and proud and hating every second of it. I need a second pair of hands. Just for an hour. A pause. I'll owe you. A real favour. War rules. Will you help me?
